Kris Morphis
Principal and President
Kris Morphis leads KRM Foodservice Consulting & Design, bringing more than 25 years of experience in foodservice planning and kitchen design. Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, he works with architects, owners, and operators to create thoughtful dining environments and practical kitchens that support the people who use them every day.
His experience spans higher education, healthcare, K12 schools, workplace dining, and hospitality, with a particular focus on campus dining. Through his work with KRM, Ricca Design Studios, Webb Foodservice Planning & Design, and Foodesign, Kris has helped clients translate their operational goals into coordinated foodservice designs.
Kris takes a hands-on, collaborative approach, providing direct principal involvement from early planning through construction. He listens closely, asks practical questions, and helps project teams balance the guest experience, staff workflow, budget, and long-term flexibility.
